In Austria, 3335 new corona infections have been reported in the past 24 hours (from 9:30 a.m. on Sunday). For the first time since mid-August 2021, no deaths from the virus infection have been recorded in the current comparative period. Occupancy in the regular wards fell by 17 places, in intensive care by four places.
At 9:30 a.m., 18,303 people had died across Austria as a result of the coronavirus. According to data from the AGES Corona Dashboard, the last time a 24-hour recording period occurred in the summer of 2021 – August 17 to be precise – when no deaths were recorded.
There are currently 732 people in normal wards being treated in the hospital. 58 patients are currently being treated in intensive care. So far there are 4,212,492 positive test results in Austria. 4,135,885 people have recovered.

- Lower Austria: 813
- Upper Austria: 466
- Salzburg: 184
- Styria: 405
- Tyrol: 204
- Vorarlberg: 126
- Vienna: 842
