Videos show what few experienced on a rainy Monday night in the Waldviertel district of Horn: there was a major alarm due to a break-in in the clubhouse in the city center. It was suspected that the perpetrators were still in the building, because noises could be heard according to the first information.

With assault rifle, protective vest and service dog
Patrols from the precinct and surrounding region rushed in and two service dog handlers were called in to assist. A dozen police officers surrounded the clubhouse with assault rifles and body armor. Later – when it was ensured that no one was in the building – the police also combed the area. However, the search for the burglars failed.

shards instead of work
Police confirmed that a window in the clubhouse had been smashed. However, nothing was stolen. An investigation by ‘Krone’ showed that an employee of the local catering company had called the police after noticing the broken window. In fact, she would have loved to get some work done. But nothing came of it after that.
