Apparently that didn’t go as planned: A parked car in Sankt Gallen, Switzerland, just across the border from Vorarlberg, became independent and rolled down a slope – straight into a pond.
Really stupid: Sunday evening a car parked in St. Gallen made itself independent, rolled down a slope and ended up directly in a pond. There the vehicle sank due to the floods and perished. Fortunately, there were no people in the car at the time of the incident and the car was simply not sufficiently secured, as it turned out later.
Use for divers and Floriani disciples
Divers eventually had to arrive that same evening and attach floats to the car so it could surface. The fire service finally pulled the car back up the embankment and onto the road with a winch. Fortunately, no one was injured, but there was some material damage.
