The fire broke out just after 9 p.m. on the terrace of the parental home. According to the director, a neighbor first heard a loud bang and then noticed the heavy smoke development. “The man then immediately made the emergency call,” says a police spokesman for “Krone”.

The fire then spread to the facade and the terrace roof. “The neighbor and the homeowner then tried to contain the fire with a fire extinguisher,” the report said.

Investigation into the cause of the fire
The alarmed fire brigades Angath, Angerberg and Wörgl were quickly on the scene, were able to get the fire under control and eventually extinguish it. “There was significant damage to the house. It is currently uninhabitable,” police said. No one was injured. The investigation into the cause of the fire is ongoing.
