According to police, a Dutch soldier was driving the army vehicle in the municipal area of ​​Wattenberg (Innsbruck-Land district) on the local forest road from the Lizum military training area to Walchen base camp further down the valley when the brakes apparently failed.

The Dutchman was then flown to the clinic in Innsbruck with the alerted rescue helicopter.
