The beastly stench that wafted from the party apartment into the courtyard of a well-maintained Wilhelminian-style house in Vienna’s Neubaugasse prompted residents to alert the police. Officers entered the home through a window. It soon turned out that it was the smell of corpses.
Neighbors visibly shocked
The dead person is Ilse F. A neighbor and an employee of a nearby café are speechless. They too cannot explain the sudden death of the 83-year-old.
“The lady often walked past our restaurant with her walker. The boss saw her a few days ago,” reports Alex D. from the adjacent café.
