Late Friday night, an 82-year-old drove his car into a pond instead of Sippbachzeller Straße in Upper Austria. The locals were able to free themselves and wore soaked clothing, but were not injured. The rescue operation took about an hour and a half and caused traffic delays.
Shortly before ten o’clock on the night from Friday to Saturday, an 82-year-old from Sippbachzell missed the turn to Sippbachzellerstraße with his white SUV for unknown reasons and ended up in the local Schacherteich. Fortunately, the car was only half submerged, which allowed him to open the door despite the water pressure and extricate himself from the predicament.
