A 50-year-old worker died yesterday afternoon in a non-traumatic industrial accident in the Guipuzco city of Legorreta. The event took place at the Eredu cooperative, part of the MCC group.
According to LAB data, at least 35 people have died at their workplace in the Basque Country so far this year, 14 of them in non-traumatic accidents. “Non-traumatic accidents, heart attacks, strokes and the like have become the leading cause of death at work,” the company said.
LAB has reported this latest industrial accident and expressed its condolences to the family and relatives of the deceased.
