The 56-year-old motorcyclist and his peer were seriously injured in a collision between a car and a motorcycle on Saturday evening in Rankweil, in the Feldkirch district of Vorarlberg.
A 17-year-old driver overlooked the motorcycle as he turned left. The right-angled collision left the two 56-year-olds on the road. According to the police, their lives are not in danger.
The two seriously injured people were treated on site – at the intersection of Alemannenstrasse (L51) and Ringstrasse (L50) – by emergency doctors and rescue workers and then taken to the LKH Feldkirch. The 17-year-old driver and his passenger of the same age were unharmed.
