According to information from Kiev, several Russian S300 and S400 missile defense systems were destroyed in the Moscow-annexed Crimean peninsula on Thursday. Security service SBU first made defense systems ‘blind’
Thanks to the help of the unwitting supporter, Ukraine could have dealt a serious blow to the Russian invaders this week. As the online newspaper “Ukrainskaya Pravda” reported, drones of the SBU security service first disabled the “eyes” of the system: radar equipment and antennas. Two cruise missiles from Neptune could then have destroyed the now ‘blind’ ‘Triumf’ S300 and S400 missile defense systems. The damage to Russia is reported to be 1.2 billion dollars (approximately 1.1 billion euros).
Moscow has not yet confirmed that the missile defense systems have been shot down. The Russian side only said that eleven drones were intercepted.
