The investigation of a prosecutor from Klagenfurt against the anti-state movement ‘State of Prussia’ was a thorn in her side – and so a suspect threatened the lawyer with the ‘death penalty’.
They refuse to recognize the Republic of Austria, its institutions and our legal system. And try to paralyze public administration. A serious, subversive threat, which is why the domestic executive only took action against the ‘State of Prussia’ movement in July as part of a police operation across Austria.
Six raids in Carinthia
As also reported, or mainly in Carinthia, where a total of six house searches took place as part of the operation coordinated by the State Office for the Protection of the Constitution and the Combating of Terrorism (LVT), including the Cobra task force, the Carinthian Taak force and the rapid reaction forces.
Mountains of evidence and data carriers were seized during the police raid at the end of July – and evaluations and investigations are still ongoing. However, one of the suspects from the Villach region who had come under judicial supervision wanted to “turn this off” without further ado. By sending a “nice” letter by post to the chief lawyer of the Klagenfurt public prosecutor’s office.
Suspect had a gun
The threatening content: If the lawyer did not immediately stop the investigation against the anti-state movement, she would be given the “death penalty”. Due to the findings of the investigation and the fact that the alleged member of the “State of Prussia” was in possession of a gun, the special Cobra unit was sent out again – this time with an arrest warrant in the luggage.
The 52-year-old was therefore put in handcuffs and taken to prison. According to the Public Prosecution Service, the suspect will probably be arrested on Saturday. Naturally, the gun was confiscated and a temporary weapons ban was imposed against her
