Early on Tuesday morning, a serious traffic accident involving a Flix bus on Friesacher Straße (Carinthia) took place near Micheldorf. It is said that a woman has been murdered.
It is not yet clear why the accident occurred around 4:45 am on Tuesday. However, it is certain that a Flix bus with 42 passengers and two Ukrainian drivers was driving towards Judenburg when the vehicle crashed into the guardrail near Micheldorf, fell into the ditch and came to a stop on its side.
Passenger fatally injured
One woman was killed in the accident and numerous injured people were taken to hospital. The passengers are people of different nationalities. “The exact background is still unclear, the investigation is ongoing,” says police press spokeswoman Lisa Sandrieser.
