Driver fled
Around 12:45 p.m., a 15-year-old in Köstendorf had to dodge a car on her moped that was coming towards her in the middle of the road. During the attempt, the girl’s vehicle slipped on the loose surface, fell and was seriously injured.
In addition to massive skin abrasions, the minor also suffered a broken shoulder joint. Instead of helping the victim, the unknown man fled, leaving the 15-year-old behind.

Also in June, a hit-and-run accident in Mattsee ended fatally. A 19-year-old was hit by a car and then run over. “The drivers are just becoming more and more irresponsible,” Wagner complains. The local boss hopes that the police can track down the driver who was hit as soon as possible.
But the police are still in the dark. “Unfortunately, neither the girl nor any of the witnesses can provide any information about the vehicle or its license plate,” said police spokeswoman Valerie Bachler. Now the police are hoping for more witnesses: “If anyone has noticed anything, please contact the office in Neumarkt.”
