A woman and her toddler were injured in a rear-end collision near Althofen (Carinthia).
A 44-year-old driver from the municipality of Micheldorf had to stop his car at a zebra crossing in Töschelddorfer Straße (L 82a) in the Althofen district due to traffic nuisance around 1 p.m.
Car couldn’t stop in time
A 23-year-old man from the St. Veit an der Glan district was unable to stop his car in time and crashed into the rear of the Micheldorfer’s vehicle.
Injuries of an undetermined nature
His wife, who was traveling with him, and their eleven-month-old toddler were injured to an unspecified degree in the accident and had to be taken to Friesach hospital by the rescue team after initial treatment.
The 23-year-old driver went to the Friesach hospital on his own. The driver from Micheldorf was unharmed. There was serious damage to both vehicles
