The National Securities Market Commission (CNMV) has decided to lift the suspension that weighed on the trading of Siemens Gamesa, which has returned to listing with a rise of 12.46%, the highest in the entire Spanish market.
The CNMV has lifted the suspension of Siemens Gamesa after its main shareholder, Siemens Energy, confirmed that it “considers” a cash takeover offer for all shares of value with the intention of excluding the company from listing on the scholarship.
The result of said analysis “is still open,” as the company explains in a note sent to the CNMV, adding that at this point “no decision has been made and there is no assurance that the operation will take place.” .
Siemens Gamesa had been suspended since 9.15am and in that 15-minute trading hour, the value had risen by 11.18% due to press rumors about the operation.
After returning to the market, the company’s shares rose to 12.46%, the most bullish in the entire Spanish stock market, to trade at 15.89 euros per share. In the cumulative year, the company left 24.58%.
