A five-year-old child was buried and seriously injured by a falling concrete brick wall in Deutsch-Griffen in Carinthia on Tuesday afternoon.
If you don’t just build with wooden blocks or Lego, but with real bricks, a child’s heart will open. But on Tuesday afternoon, a serious accident occurred during construction work on a house in Deutsch-Griffen: a concrete brick wall collapsed. According to the Christophorus 11 rescue helicopter team, a five-year-old boy was buried under rocks and suffered serious head injuries.
“The little one had to be put into an artificial deep sleep on the spot by the C11 team. He was then flown to the Klagenfurt clinic,” said Michael Umschäd Christophorus air rescue association.
The exact cause of the accident is not yet known.
