Ina Regen, winner of the Amadeus Prize and one of Austria’s most interesting musicians, is currently rediscovering Anton Bruckner. Under the keyword ‘Next Bruckner’ she is putting together a very special concert series that starts in January at the Posthof in Linz and ends with a concert by Ina Regen in November 2024. The framework for this is the Bruckner Year 2024, in which the 200th anniversary of the great composer is celebrated.
“If Anton Bruckner were born today, he might be a musician,” says Ina Regen. The charismatic singer-songwriter from Gallspach in Upper Austria uses this idea as the motto for the concert series ‘Next Bruckner’, which she curates. The line-up has now been determined, including Anja Om Plus, Sabine Stieger & Band, Ursula Reicher and Oska. With the “Krone”, Regen speaks for the first time about her “Bruckner experiences”.
