Following the arrest of a 42-year-old Turkish citizen in Hungary who allegedly shot a 34-year-old fellow countryman in Wiener Neustadt shortly after midnight on Sunday, the suspect’s simplified extradition to Austria was ordered on Thursday.
A corresponding request was made in the European arrest warrant issued against the initial fugitive. A date must now be agreed on when the suspect will be handed over at the border so that the procedure can be conducted in Austria.
The 42-year-old man is being investigated on suspicion of murder.

The man is accused of shooting the 34-year-old around 12:30 a.m. on Sunday in the parking lot of a shopping center with a cinema on Wiener Neustädter Stadionstrasse. The victim was hit three times by a gun. A number of people had to witness the gruesome act
