Spectacular accident including collision in the municipality of Lavamünd: After a 52-year-old lost control of his car and ended up on its roof, the driver drove away and simply left his injured passenger behind.
Around 7 p.m., the driver of his vehicle went off the right side of the road for unknown reasons on the municipal road in Lavamünd in a wooded area – the car ended up on a steep slope, overturned and finally landed on its roof again on the road.
Injured passenger left behind
The driver of the accident from the Wolfsberg district and his injured passenger still managed to free themselves from the car. But instead of alerting emergency services, the 52-year-old called a friend, announced he was fine and ran away. Without his 20-year-old passenger, whom he simply left injured at the scene of the accident.
A search in the nearby area turned up nothing and the driver who was hit could no longer be found at his place of residence for the time being. A total of four fire brigades (Ettendorf, Lavamünd, St. Georgen and Hart) as well as rescue and emergency doctors were present.
