During an inspection of a riverboat on the Amazon, Brazilian police officers discovered a very creative stash of drugs: when the officers cut open frozen fish, they found packets of cocaine inside.
2.5 kilos of cocaine were found in four packages, neatly wrapped in plastic. The drugs have been seized.
According to eyewitnesses, the drug traffickers probably arrived in a motorcycle taxi and left the fish in a refrigerator on the boat so that they could pick up the buyers there. “These traffickers should receive double punishment, for the crime of human trafficking and for wasting food,” said one resident, according to local media.
