An overturned truck caused traffic chaos on the A14 in Vorarlberg on Monday morning. The load – tons of sand – spread across the road.
Chaos on the Rhine Valley highway. A truck full of sand got into trouble between Nenzing and Frastanz. Suddenly the truck overturned and all the sand was scattered on the road.
Temporary suspension
For the duration of the cleaning work, the A14 towards Tyrol had to be completely closed until 1:10 p.m. Towards Germany the fast lane had to be closed until 12.50 pm. The driver was seriously injured in the accident and had to be taken to Feldkirch State Hospital. There was significant damage to the vehicle.
