Terrible accident on Tuesday evening in the Tyrolean lowlands: during a cow insemination, a farmer was pressed against the stable wall by an 800-kilogram bull. The 53-year-old resident suffered serious injuries.
The fatal incident took place on Tuesday evening around 7:15 p.m. in Breitenbach am Inn (Kufstein district): Another farmer had brought his cow to the 53-year-old’s farm for insemination.
“After the cow failed to stop during the project and swerved to the side, the owner was no longer able to hold the bull, which weighed around 800 kilograms,” police said. “The 53-year-old was then pushed against the stable wall with full force.”
Going to the hospital with a broken pelvis
The farmer suffered a broken pelvis. After initial treatment on site by the emergency doctor, the Tyrolean was taken by ambulance to the Kufstein district hospital.
The seriously injured man’s cousin, who was present at the farm, was able to calm the bull and return it to the stable.
