The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has confirmed the death of Sevillian Maya Villalobo Sinvany, who disappeared last Saturday following the Hamas attacks in Israel, and expressed its condolences to the family.
At the time of the attack, the missing young woman, 19 years old and of dual Spanish and Israeli nationality, whose father is a professor at the Department of Microbiology of the University of Seville, was at the Nahal Oz base, near the border with Gaza. who does military service.

National Court Judge María Tardón has agreed to accept jurisdiction to investigate the disappearance of three Spaniards following the attacks on Israel and in the Palestinian areas of Gaza and the West Bank.
The Central Court of Instruction Number Three assumes jurisdiction because the facts fall within the criminal types of Articles 571 et seq. of the Criminal Code, as it concerns an alleged terrorist offense.
