Two seriously and three slightly injured people – including two children – were injured in a terrible traffic accident in the Tyrolean lowlands on Friday evening. A 44-year-old driver overtook a Romanian woman’s car in a bend (!) in Westendorf (Kitzbühel district). He collided with the oncoming car of a local woman (28). Ultimately, the two women’s vehicles also crashed. A vehicle immediately caught fire.
The devastating accident happened around 7:45 p.m. The 36-year-old Romanian, who had her two children (3 and 10 years old) on board, was on the Brixentalstrasse coming from Hopfgarten towards Kirchberg when, according to the police, a resident who was driving behind her tried to overtake in a bend near Westendorf.
Car completely engulfed in flames after accident
