While about 600 people demonstrated for Palestine in the Volksgarten, a senseless act of destruction took place in the nearby central square. Videos show several young people pulling the Israeli flag from the pole in front of the old city hall.

Then the boys, who had come with rental scooters and a bicycle, threw the flag on the ground and kicked it. The video also shows that several passersby observed and walked through the situation.
Search for perpetrators
“The incident occurred around 6 p.m.,” confirmed city police commander Karl Pogutter. The identity of the perpetrators is currently unknown. However, they are clearly visible in the video.
