On Tuesday evening, a young woman from Linz was the victim of a robbery in the middle of the street. A masked man threatened the 20-year-old with a knife. When she called for help, the man stabbed her and fled empty-handed.
A previously unknown man, armed with a knife, attacked a 20-year-old woman from Linz on Fröbelstrasse in Linz on Tuesday around 7:45 p.m. and demanded money. As he searched for money in her backpack, she called for help. The masked man then suddenly stabbed and then fled without any loot.
Stab in the stomach
The victim suffered a stab wound in the abdominal area and was released from hospital after outpatient treatment. An immediate search for the escapee using all available patrols has so far yielded negative results.
Description of perpetrator
The man spoke with a foreign accent, was approximately 1.80 – 1.90 m tall, had a heavy build, wore black clothing, black gloves and a balaclava.
