Attack with 2 per mille – argument in the subway, after which the woman took out a kitchen knife

Date:

Two people collided with each other at the Rennbahnweg metro station in Vienna-Donaustadt shortly before 6 p.m. on Wednesday. Suddenly, one of the two – a 44-year-old woman – allegedly took out a kitchen food item and threatened her opponent with it. Wiener Linien service personnel had to intervene.

The Viennese police do not yet know how the argument between the woman (44) and the still unknown man came about. However, during the argument, the woman allegedly took out a kitchen knife and threatened her victim with it.

After being threatened, he ran away
Wiener Linien service employees immediately intervened and asked the 44-year-old to put the weapon away. The suspect then fled. The police were then alerted by the staff.

The murder weapon disappeared without a trace
With the help of several witnesses, the officers were able to quickly determine where the suspected perpetrator was. She was arrested not far from the crime scene. “However, the suspected murder weapon, a kitchen knife, could not be found,” the director announced on Thursday.

The suspect was heavily intoxicated
But as if the woman’s threat wasn’t enough, it also turned out that the 44-year-old was heavily drunk. An alcohol test carried out showed a value of 2.2 per mille. The woman is currently being held by the police and an interrogation has not yet been possible. Moreover, the victim has not yet been identified.
