Escalation on the national holiday. Our nerves were on edge on Thursday in quiet Bad Ischl. A man (39) threatened to kill his wife several times during an argument. Finally he barricaded himself in his house, the Cobra had to move in and put an end to the ghost.
Due to a family dispute, a police patrol was sent to a single-family home in Bad Ischl on the national holiday around 1:45 p.m. An entry and approach ban was eventually issued against the 39-year-old man.
Woman threatened
Shortly afterwards, his 39-year-old wife was questioned at the police station. She stated that she had just been attacked again by her husband while driving to the police station and threatened to kill her.
Gun in the house
She also stated that there was a long gun in the home they shared. The Cobra task force and two SIG patrols were then called in. The 39-year-old, who had holed up at home in the meantime, was finally arrested shortly before 8 p.m.
