A 62-year-old woman was shocked shortly before noon in a supermarket in Villach: unknown perpetrators stole her handbag at an unnoticed moment and ran away with it. And it didn’t take long before a previously unknown suspect made extensive use of the loot.
Hundreds of euros stuck
A short time later, the suspected thief went shopping and used the victim’s credit card to purchase various products worth a total of several hundred euros at a sports store. But the suspect wasn’t having enough of that. The woman then walked into a bank branch and also used the card to withdraw hundreds of euros.
However, in the course of this, the suspect became the target of surveillance cameras within the financial institution. With the help of the seized images, investigators now hope to find a clue to the brazen thief.
