A tragic accident happened on Saturday morning in Klachl in the municipality of Metnitz (Carinthia). A young woman, who according to the fire service was only in her early 20s, lost control of her car and fell about 150 meters down.
What exactly happened has yet to be clarified. In any case, it is clear that all the help for the young woman from Metnitz came too late. “We tried to resuscitate her. Unfortunately we didn’t succeed!” reports Wolfgang Bergner, fire chief of the FF Grades depressed.
Got off the road
The victim ran off the road with her car and fell about 150 meters down a slope with her car. The voluntary fire brigades Metnitz, Grades and Klachl have already returned – the voluntary members will also work through the crisis intervention team.
