A man from Innviertel (Upper Austria) was found seriously injured on the ground in front of his house in Lengau on Saturday afternoon. The 47-year-old probably fell directly from the roof at a height of five meters, even though there was scaffolding there. The cause of the accident is still unclear.
The 47-year-old had placed roofing felt on the cold roof of his single-family home in Lengau around 3:15 p.m. He only worked on the west side of the building. Other workers were on the other side at the time.

The first responders immediately started the rescue chain. The 47-year-old received emergency care at the scene and was then flown by rescue helicopter to UKH in Salzburg.
