A 15-year-old from Lavanttal had to be taken to hospital with serious injuries on Monday. The teenager was hit by a Dorgen driver on his moped.
Because a 28-year-old ignored priority in his car at an intersection in the municipality of St. Andrä, the Lavanttaler collided with a 15-year-old moped rider.
The teenager fell in the crash and suffered serious injuries. After initial medical care, the rescue operation took the 15-year-old to the hospital in Wolfsberg.
The police officers were able to determine that the 28-year-old driver suffered from drug abuse. The Lavanttaler had to surrender his driver’s license on the spot.
