In the past 24 hours (from 9.30 am on Sunday), 1950 new corona infections have been reported in Austria. Four other people infected with the virus died. In the normal wards of the hospitals, the occupancy rate fell by four places (589 in total), the number of patients in the intensive care units by nine (45 patients in total).
So far there are 4,233,430 positive test results in Austria. As of today (May 22, 9:30 a.m.), 18,347 people with SARS-CoV-2 infection have died and 4,169,371 have recovered. 634 people are currently hospitalized with the corona virus.
