For its part, Adif AV will draft the project and carry out the railway, electrification, security and communications installations and non-railway security installations, an action for which there is an estimated budget from others. 53.59 million euros (Including VAT).
This registration corresponds to what the Spanish government agreed with the PNV during the negotiations on the general state budgets for 2022. The PNV celebrated the decision, which it said came about “thanks to the insistence” of the Jeltzales.
The spokesperson of the Basque Group in Congress, Aitor Estebandescribed the agreement two years ago as a “milestone” and confirms, although this step has “taken longer than expected”, that it will serve to “give a definitive boost” to an essential part of the infrastructure, such as access to the TAV to Bilbao.
