Trial in Graz – brothel staff traded in love and coke

Date:

Six former employees of a Styrian brothel are said to have provided not only loving services, but also kilos of drugs to the subjects. The trial started on Tuesday in Graz.

In a brothel in Styria, not only sexual desires would have been satisfied. Six former employees – including the prostitute’s boss – are said to have sold cocaine on a large scale to the john known in the scene – a total of 4.6 kilograms.

‘Cut open her stomach and take the child’
But that’s not all: the Public Prosecution Service accuses two money collectors of serious coercion. “We will cut you open like a fish, and we will cut open your girlfriend’s stomach and take out the child,” they allegedly threatened to put a customer in a headlock who was addicted to gambling. The unofficial manager – officially he was a waiter – had lent the victim 15,000 euros for the illegal brothel machine, but it was not returned.

Sold drugs to undercover police officers
For two years, undercover investigators snuck into the bar and posed as coke customers. Telephone surveillance was conducted before police gained access to it a year ago.

Ex-girlfriend reported as “brothel boss”.
According to lawyer Christian Fauland, it is a ‘fairy tale from a thousand and one nights’, an act of revenge provoked by the ex-lover of the ‘director’. She is jealous of his new love: the prostitute boss who has also been accused.

The ex became involved with serious criminals, which his client did not like and led to their divorce. That and disputes over money eventually led to her filing a complaint against him. She will soon be questioned as a witness.
