A stabbing took place on Währinger Straße in Vienna on Wednesday evening.
A young woman in a jogging suit stood completely distraught in front of the Werkstätten- und Kulturhaus (WUK) on Währinger Straße in Vienna’s 9th district, Alsergrund. Numerous police cars immediately arrived and were led by the woman.
This was followed by the fire brigade and professional rescue services. The officers literally jumped out of their car and ran into the building. Firefighters could later be seen carrying a yellow plastic stretcher into the building.
krone.at was there and wanted to know what happened. A rescue worker described that a stabbing had taken place in the WUK building.
As a result, one person “almost” died. The crime probably took place on the second floor around 8:30 p.m. At that time, a dance event was taking place on the ground floor.
Nothing is known so far about the background of the crime or the motive.
