Restrictions on air travel are expected on Monday due to a strike by air traffic controllers in France. The number of flights will be reduced by 25 percent at Paris-Orly and Toulouse airports and by 20 percent at Bordeaux and Marseille, the Civil Aviation Authority (DGAC) announced in Paris on Thursday.
However, delays and disruptions to air traffic should be expected from Sunday evening to Tuesday morning, the DGAC reports.
In the past, strikes by French air traffic controllers had not only delayed intra-French flights and connections to and from Germany. Flights that only cross French airspace, for example on their way from Germany to Spain, were also affected.
