A Tyrolean (44) in Hall in the Innsbruck-Land district appears to have been swallowed up by the earth. A major search took place on Sunday, which also involved several sniffer dogs. This had to be canceled later in the afternoon without success and will continue on Monday.

The wife of the Tyrolean (39) raised the alarm. Around 11:45 a.m., she told the Hall office that the 44-year-old had left the apartment they shared. A major search followed. “The greater Hall urban area, the Inn area and the alpine area around Absam were searched,” the director said. The search failed until shortly before 5 p.m.
