Hamas fighters are believed to have kidnapped hundreds of hostages during their terrorist attack on Israel, including three Austrian citizens. One of the kidnapped is Tal Shoham, who was taken hostage by Hamas together with his wife, son and daughter. At least now his family has been freed from their tormentors.
In October, 38-year-old father Tal Shoham, his wife Adi (38) and their children Yael and son Nave, were surprised by attackers in Kibbutz Be’eri.
At least now Tal’s family has been freed from the clutches of Hamas. His wife (38), his son (8) and his daughter (3) were allowed to go home. Tal is still being held.
“All hostages must be released by Hamas”
Chancellor Karl Nehammer said on Sunday: “I am happy that Tal Shoham’s family is free and safe again. Our thoughts remain with Tal Shoham, who continues to be held hostage by Hamas. The demand remains: all hostages must be released by Hamas.”
Nehammer had met Tal’s father, Gilad Korngold, during his visit to Israel.
