A 36-year-old woman desperately sought help at a police station in Vienna-Hernals on Sunday evening. Shortly before, her boyfriend of the same age allegedly injured her with several punches and threatened to kill her with a knife, she said angrily. A short time later, the 36-year-old suspect also appeared at the police station. The two were separately questioned by officers about the incident.
Jealous of roommates
According to the 36-year-old, the argument arose because the Romanian was jealous of his 32-year-old roommate. During the course of the argument, fistfights broke out and he allegedly threatened to kill them both.
During interrogation, the 36-year-old allegedly stated that he wanted to kill them both. He was then temporarily arrested on suspicion of making dangerous threats.
As a result, an entry and approach ban and a temporary weapons ban were issued against the suspect.
