In Gurk – Several men attacked each other in front of a cafe

Date:

An argument between two men escalated in Gurk on Saturday evening after more and more local guests became involved. A passing car was even damaged.

On Saturday evening around 9:30 p.m., a well-known Weitensfelder (23) and a 28-year-old raised their fists in front of a cafe in Gurk. The fight between the two men did not go unnoticed for long by other local guests and so they stepped outside to not just watch what was happening. A number of guests – including the 23-year-old’s brother – and a man from Gurk (20) jumped those who were already fighting.

Tires “deflated” and ashtrays thrown away
During the scuffle, the wing mirror was torn off the 28-year-old’s car, which was parked outside the cafe. The left front side window was broken and the roof antenna was bent. As fists flew, all four tires of the car were “deflated” – whether by puncturing or by releasing air could not be clarified in the evening.

Even a completely uninvolved driver became a victim of the brawl; an ashtray thrown shortly after the brawl was thrown against the rear window of a passing car.

Bullies fled
Before police arrived, 28-year-old Weitensfelder fled on foot and had an acquaintance pick him up in a car nearby. The police eventually knocked on his door and were able to question him. The pair of brothers also fled – they were arrested by the officers as part of the local search in Gurk. The 23-year-old and the 28-year-old were injured as a result of the brawl. All participants are displayed.
