A 56-year-old panicked completely on Tuesday afternoon in Vienna-Wieden after a parking attendant (46) was about to give him a parking fine.
The parking offender returned to his car around 1:45 p.m. when the parking attendant filled out the parking ticket and wanted to place it behind the windshield. The 56-year-old then became extremely aggressive towards the officer, got into his car, ran over the officer’s foot and ran away.
Provisionally arrested
The 46-year-old then immediately alerted the police. As part of an immediate search, the suspect was arrested a short time later in his car and temporarily arrested on suspicion of resisting state authority.

He is also charged with aggravated assault. The 46-year-old was taken to hospital by Vienna’s professional rescue service.
