Two-time jackpot winner! Wayne Murray won ten million dollars a year ago. This week he bought a new ticket at the same location and cheered again.
Just a year ago, Wayne Murray won ten million dollars with a New York Lottery scratch card in the United States of America. At a gas station on Avenue H in the New York borough of Brooklyn, he bought his ticket to become a millionaire by paying for gas.
Unbelievable but true: this week the multimillionaire stopped by the same gas station again, bought another scratch card – and won the jackpot of ten million euros for the second time.
“Feels very overwhelming”
In an official press release, US Lottery Communications Director Brad Maine confirmed that the winner would still be left with just over $6 million after state taxes were deducted. That amounts to approximately 5.6 million euros.
The lucky man said after winning the lottery again: “It feels very overwhelming, but also liberating!”
For this time’s winning photo with the obligatory check, Murray decided to wear a mask so that he would not be recognized on the street and be cheated out of a few dollars.
