A 32-year-old Kosovan from the Schärding district left a restaurant in Schärding shortly after 3 a.m. on Saturday. In the Grafenau Park he noticed a verbal argument between several people.
Stabs in the head
The 32-year-old intervened and suffered head injuries. Immediately afterwards he noticed bleeding in the head area and went to the emergency room of Schärding Hospital on his own. There, a doctor found two punctures about an inch deep in the head area.
No information about perpetrators
When the police arrived, the 32-year-old was approachable, but could not provide any information about the perpetrator. After the first hearing, the injured person was transferred to the Ried im Innkreis hospital.
