The Ministry of Equality, Justice and Social Policy of the Basque Government will present a new guide for families tomorrow during the meeting of the Basque Family Council. According to the Basque government, it is a document that serves as finder of help, services and initiatives of the Basque government services aimed at families.
This guide can be consulted or downloaded from Tuesday 19 December on the euskadi.eus website and will serve as a locator for help, services or initiatives for the family environment.
Different types of families have been identified and existing services, resources and assistance have been classified based on that typology. And it is that “the document is based on recognizing the diversity exist, and assume that the needs of some and others can be very different,” said the Deputy Minister of Social Policy, Lide Amilibia.
The Basque government has also announced that it is already working on a computer application in which the data is entered and which can be used as a search engine. The tool will be available in March and will be made available via the Basque Government website, euskadi.eus.
Furthermore, the guide is intended as a living document that can be nourished and enriched with new services or resources or updating existing ones
