Burned in front of parliament – Boxer threatened the president with genital mutilation

Date:

To prevent ‘his case’ from being covered up, a Viennese (26) wanted to attract the attention of high-ranking politicians. The mentally ill man used fire and gruesome emails to do so. On Thursday, a panel of lay judges decided: The affected person will be placed in a forensic therapeutic center.

“I am involved in a case. He entered high politics. It’s about a lot. “That’s why I wanted to raise awareness,” says the affected person in the Wiener Landl. The ‘case’ is why he threatened Federal President Alexander Van der Bellen via Instagram on August 28 and wrote an email to National Council Chairman Wolfgang Sobotka on September 17. The Thai boxer threatened both politicians with genital mutilation.

Lawyer: “Sad story”
Lawyer Andreas Strobl said in court that his client never intended to put this into practice. It’s a ‘sad story’ – one that trial observers gain insight into: ‘I cut myself while exercising. In the hospital they stole blood from my head because I have strong blood. To turn it into a medicine.”

His son, who is not recognized as his biological son, was also kidnapped twice. “The case is complex. People turned against me.”

Arson at parliament
Expert Siegfried Schranz confirmed a delusional disorder. The madness apparently drove the 26-year-old to push a burning waste paper container in front of a side entrance to Parliament in the summer. He had previously bought the petrol for this at the gas station. The “Krone” reported on the incident in June, in which no one was injured.

The Viennese does not want to take medication for schizophrenia: “I am not sick,” he assures. The jury senate sees this differently and decides to place him in a forensic therapeutic center indefinitely.
