Wild scenes took place in Oberallgäu, Bavaria, on Thursday evening. Two men got into an argument in the town of Kempten, not far from the Austrian border. The brawl culminated in an 83-year-old throwing an ax at his opponent, who was 36 years his junior.
Why the two men got into an argument and whether they might be related is currently still the subject of a police investigation. What is certain, however, is that an 83-year-old threw an ax at the 47-year-old victim. Thanks to a large police presence, the man was subsequently arrested without resistance.
Ax victim was very lucky
Fortunately, the ax blade did not hit the 47-year-old, meaning the victim was not injured. The Kempten police station is investigating the suspect for dangerous physical injuries.
