Brutal knife attack at a company Christmas party: A 43-year-old was stabbed in Vienna’s Landstrasse district on Friday evening. A former employee of the company is suspected of committing the crime. The police are urgently looking for the 47-year-old Croat.
According to current investigations, the 47-year-old allegedly showed up at the Christmas party and got into an argument with several guests. He allegedly pulled out a knife and stabbed the 43-year-old several times.
Stab wounds to the upper body
The victim had multiple stab wounds to the upper body. The seriously injured man received emergency medical care from the Vienna Professional Rescue Service and was then taken to a hospital.
The suspected attacker fled after the attack. A manhunt is underway. The murder weapon has not yet been found.
