A 42-year-old man took the drug-addicted homeless man to his apartment on Friday. There, the 30-year-old suddenly jumped out and hit his helper in the face with a paint can, leaving him with a bleeding wound.
Kicked furniture
The 42-year-old then called the police for help. When they arrived, the man was raging in the apartment, kicking furniture, lashing out wildly and then trying to escape. He spat in the face of one of the officers.
The rioter was arrested. The police officer who was spat on was unharmed, but was still examined in hospital to rule out contamination with communicable diseases.
