At 6:50 am, a pupil (16) from kindergarten crossed a street in the dark in Ried/Riedmark (Upper Austria). And that even though there was no zebra crossing there. A local driver (27) hit the student, who hit her head on the windshield.
The 16-year-old crossed the Lungitzer Straße L1410 in the Ried in der Riedmark area near a bus stop in the dark with artificial light on Monday around 6:50 am.
At the time, a local 27-year-old was driving her car down the street from the center of town when the accident occurred.
The young pedestrian collided with the front left side of the car and hit her head on the windshield. She was taken to Linz hospital with head injuries of undetermined nature.
